Throughout her career, she has worked for leading companies in the energy, mining, banking and finance sectors. Her areas of specialisation include derivatives, gas, power, LNG, coal, oil, biomass, renewables, emissions, freight, capacity and (virtual) storage products.
Safina is originally from England but now lives in the Netherlands. She holds an LLB (Hons) degree in Taxation and Law (Bournemouth University) and an advanced LLM degree in International Tax Law (University of Leiden, the Netherlands).
